Madison, AL – More of Alabama's four-year-olds will be able to join the state's pre-kindergarten program in the fall and Gov. Bob Riley is set to announce the new locations Tuesday.
The expansion will allow an additional 1,926 kids to have access to the program, which has been recognized as one of the country's best.
The new locations will include Head Start and public school pre-k programs as well as private education centers and faith-based childcare programs throughout the state.
Riley is set to make the announcement at a preschool in Huntsville.
