Washington, DC – We begin a two-part series today (Wednesday, 7/30) on two of Alabama's retiring congressmen. Republican Terry Everett and Democrat Bud Cramer are not seeking re-election. This morning, we start with Terry Everett, who has spent the past sixteen years quietly crafting U.S. farm and military policy. Everett's colleagues say he has left his mark, but he says he might not be through with politics just yet. Matt Laslo reports from Washington.
OUTRO: Tomorrow (Thursday, 7/31), we'll take a look at retiring Democratic Congressman Bud Cramer.
