Mobile, AL – A new poll has found that most Alabamians take a dim vie of the federal government's $700 billion plan to rescue the U.S. financial industry.
The statewide poll by the Press-Register and University of South Alabama found that six out of 10 of those surveyed were ``not very confident'' or ``not confident at all'' that the rescue will succeed.
And almost 90 percent rated the economy as at least fairly bad.
