Mobile, AL – A review team from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools will visit Mobile this week to determine whether Bishop State Community College will be taken off probation.
SACS placed the two-year school on probation in December 2006 because of failures in academic and financial areas. The accrediting agency extended the sanction in 2007.
The evaluation will conducted Tuesday through Thursday.
SACS is the accrediting organization for 11 states in the Southeast.
