Birmingham, AL – Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps made a stop in Alabama overnight. The record-setting swimmer had dinner Wednesday night at a popular Birmingham restaurant with several friends, including Doree Walker, a former Miss Alabama USA.
Walker said she and Phelps became friends earlier this year in Las Vegas. She also said they are not dating.
Phelps won a record 8 gold medals at this year's summer Olympic Games in China.
