Tuscaloosa, AL – Tomorrow morning in Atlanta, attorneys for Don Siegelman and Richard Scrushy will present their opening arguments for an appeal two years in the making. A panel of three judges from the 11th U-S Circuit Court of Appeals will hear the arguments.

The appeal marks a major step for the two men, who have maintained their innocence since their conviction on federal bribery charges in 2006.

Brandon Hollingsworth spoke with University of Alabama political science professor Joe Smith to get a preview of what happens tomorrow, and what comes next for Siegelman and Scrushy.
