Cold Air Moves Into State

By Associated Press

Montgomery, AL – Its definitely feeling like winter across Alabama.

A strong Arctic cold front entered the state Sunday ushering in subfreezing temperatures from the Tennessee Valley to the Alabama coast.

So, you will definitely need coats and scarves for the Monday morning commute.

Meanwhile, people are urged to be careful in how they heat their homes.

Space heaters must be used properly and should be placed at least three feet from anything that can catch on fire. Candles should never be unattended and fireplaces should be used only with a screen.
