Montgomery, AL – Republican State Auditor Samantha Shaw says she plans to run for re-election in 2010.
Some other Capitol offices will be coming open in 2010, but Shaw said Monday she wants to stay put for another four years. She says it's been 20 years since someone served two consecutive terms as auditor, and she wants to do that.
Shaw may have some Democratic opposition. Attorney Jeremy Sherer of Oneonta says he's considering running.
