Dothan, AL – Gov. Bob Riley and emergency officials will review recent flooding response in southeast Alabama during a stop in Houston County.
The 1 p.m. event outside the Houston County Emergency Management Agency will allow questions about the government's response to the severe weather.
Riley declared a state of emergency for Houston County and 10 other counties on March 30 because of storm damage. Later, seven more counties were added to emergency declaration on April 3.
Attorney General Troy King spent Monday touring storm damage in Houston and Geneva counties and warned residents to be alert for storm-related consumer fraud.
