Former QB Named to Auburn Univ. Board of Trustees

By Associated Press

Montgomery, AL – The Auburn University Trustee Selection Committee has chosen former Auburn quarterback Randy Campbell to become an Auburn trustee.

The panel headed by Gov. Bob Riley unanimously selected Campbell at a meeting Wednesday. He will replace trustee Paul Spina of Pelham if he's approved by the state Senate when it meets in January.

Campbell graduated from Auburn in 1984. He lives in Shoal Creek and is president of Campbell Financial Partners and Harlan Partners in Birmingham.
