Study Says Women, Baby Boomers Are Big Voters In Ala.

Auburn, AL – An analysis of Alabama voting in last year's presidential election found that women voted more than men and baby boomers voted more than young adults.

Auburn University's Center for Governmental Studies analyzed voter turnout information compiled by the U.S. Census Bureau.

It shows that 66 percent of registered female voters turned out, compared to 58 percent of registered male voters.

Auburn's analysis also showed that citizens 55 to 64 years old were almost 40 percent more likely to vote than those 18 to 24 years old.
