Montgomery, AL – Former Mexican President Vicente Fox is beginning two days of appearances in Alabama.
Fox will join officials from the University of West Alabama in Montgomery on Thursday as they announce a new partnership with a Mexican university in Fox's home state.
On Friday, Fox will deliver the keynote address at a meeting of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture. That speech also is in the capital city.
Fox was elected president of Mexico in 2000 and served through 2006.
