PCOS rates higher in Alabama

Tuscaloosa, Alabama – One of the most common causes of infertility is a disease that doctors say occurs more often here in Alabama. The illness is called Polycystic Ovarian syndrome or P-C-O-S. It affects as many as 10 percent of American women. Alabama Public Radio reporter, Alisa Beckwith-Ayilliath takes a look at this illness.
