Tuscaloosa, AL – Perhaps the biggest job facing State lawmakers in Montgomery is writing the 2011 budget. A large chunk of that spending is for Alabama's public school system. Now is when things get complicated. Educators, lawmakers, and administrators appear to be looking at the same economic numbers regarding the school budget, and they're coming up with very different outcomes.
