Tuscaloosa, AL – Each Monday morning during the 2010 Legislature, we like to find out what your elected representatives are talking about. Just before he headed out on a weekend vacation, Montgomery Independent editor Bob Martin took some time to chat with Morning Edition host Brandon Hollingsworth about the week gone by, and the week yet to come.

Bob and Brandon talk about why the Senate's proposal for a constitutional amendment legalizing electronic bingo didn't make it to the voting stage -- yet. They also cover what the House of Representatives is doing, and how John Tyson, head of the governor's anti-gambling task force, could himself be straddling state law.
