Birmingham, AL – Former President Bill Clinton will be in Birmingham on Thursday to help state Agriculture Commissioner Ron Sparks in his Democratic campaign for governor.
Sparks' campaign announced that Clinton will appear with the candidate at The Summit Club at 1 p.m, and they will talk about job creation. Tickets are a minimum of $1,000 per person.
Sparks supported Clinton's wife, Hillary Clinton, for president in 2008 and served as co-chairman of Rural Americans for Hillary.
Sparks faces Republican Robert Bentley in the general election Nov. 2.
