Tyson Says He Can Raid Country Crossing Any Time

Dothan, AL – The commander of the Governor's Task Force on Illegal Gambling says he can seize the closed electronic bingo machines at Country Crossing in Dothan at any time without a search warrant.

John Tyson told the Dothan Rotary Club on Monday that he hasn't ruled out doing that. Tyson says the task force hasn't done that already because it has been busy.

Country Crossing attorney Will Matthew says a seizure without a search warrant would be a violation of state law.

Country Crossing closed in January to prevent a raid by the task force.
