New Report Says Parker Is Alabama's Least Productive Justice

Montgomery, AL – New statistics released by the Alabama Supreme Court show Justice Tom Parker is lagging behind his colleagues in productivity.

At the end of the fiscal year Sept. 30, Parker had 39 cases assigned to him awaiting an original decision, which was the most of any justice. Parker also produced the fewest original decisions during the fiscal year with 24.

Parker, a Republican who is seeking re-election, told the Press-Register that voters are more interested in quality than quantity and they want judges who will stand up to the left-wing agenda that liberals want to impose on the court.

Parker's Democratic opponent, Circuit Judge Mac Parsons, says the statistics show Parker has not kept up with his responsibilities.
