Orange Beach, Alabama – It may be the calm before the storm for the tourism industry along Alabama's gulf coast. Spring break next month marks the unofficial start of the first full tourism season since the BP oil spill last April. Alabama Public Radio commentator Eloise Thomley lives on Ono Island near Orange Beach. She offers a few thoughts on this quiet time for gulf residents.
