Budget Cuts May Create A New Alabama

Tuscaloosa, AL – As the Alabama Lgislature prepares to release its budget proposal for 2012, several state agencies are waiting for the budget axe to fall on their state funding. Earlier this month, we examined how funding cuts would affect the Alabama Forestry Commission, costing jobs and making it more difficult to control wildfires. Now, Alabama Public Radio's Maggie Martin takes a look at three of Alabama's tourist attractions who are anticipating tough times ahead and how they'll cope with the cuts.
