Phil Campbells Helping Ala. Town Of Phil Campbell

Phil Campbell, AL – After the tiny Alabama town of Phil Campbell was slammed by a tornado in April, a select group from around the world offered to help: men named Phil Campbell.

Phil Campbells from across the globe are converging there this weekend for an ``I'm With Phil'' convention to raise spirits, money and new roofs. About 18 Phil Campbells are expected in all, coming from the United Kingdom, Alaska, California, Wisconsin and elsewhere.

The Phil Campbells cleaned up storm debris Friday. They'll also march in a parade, donate money to build a Habitat for Humanity house, listen to country music and just show they care.

Organizer Phil Campbell of Brooklyn, N.Y., first pulled together a Phil Campbell convention in 1995. He wants this year's gathering to lift spirits in the city.
