Tuscaloosa, AL – The city of Tuscaloosa plans to hold community meetings to get citizen input on the plans for the areas impacted by tornadoes in April.
The four meetings next week will be structured as come-and-go events.
The initial step in the Tuscaloosa Forward Strategic Plan was to come up with guiding principles and key objectives for the area. The next step is the development of more detailed plans for the possible public infrastructure projects identified in the plan.
Once public input has been gathered, plans will be developed for further public comment before presentation to the city council.
The meetings next week will be: Monday at Tuscaloosa Magnet School; Tuesday at Central High School; Wednesday at Central High School; and Thursday at Forest Lake United Methodist Church.
