Montgomery, AL – Casino developer Ronnie Gilley says he's broke and about $115 million in the hole.
Gilley testified for a third day Friday in Alabama's gambling corruption trial in Montgomery. Gilley has pleaded guilty to bribery, conspiracy and money laundering. He is testifying for the prosecution.
The developer of Country Crossing casino in Dothan said he let his ego get out of control and ``I broke the law.''
He described Friday how he gave $20,000 in a cell phone box to former state Rep. Terry Spicer of Elba, who has also pleaded guilty.
Defense attorneys expect to start questioning Gilley at midday Friday.
