A MARTÍNEZ, HOST:
Good morning. I'm A Martínez. Imagine being a soccer referee for an adult league at the age of 10. Erick Callejas of El Alto, Bolivia, is doing just that. His father is also a referee and said it runs in his blood, as red as the red card in his pocket. I added that last part. But it's why so many are wondering if he's the world's youngest referee. And unlike the scores of many professional soccer games, Callejas has goals - one of them working with FIFA. It's MORNING EDITION. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
