There will be over 300 quilts on display with dazzling designs and mastered techniques, as well as food, demonstraions and items for sale. This is a biannual event put on by the Azalea City Quilters’ Guild which is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization. Its purpose is: to promote the appreciation of quilting, while members develop their skills and learn new techniques. Members share an interest in the art of quilting and join together to educate the public about this beautiful American art form. It very community orientated and has subgroups such as Quilts of Valor, children's advocacy, donation quilts, art guild and much more.
The purpose of the event is to showcase both local and wide-area talent and to perk the interest of the quilters world, it is a wonderful famly event.
