Event Description

The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa will host Community Arts Conversations and an exhibit in recognition of Black History Month at the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center. Taking place on First Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, the exhibit reception will be open from 5-8 p.m. and Community Arts Conversations will take place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Also on First Friday, the opening of an exhibit in recognition of Black History Month will take place from 5-8 p.m. in The Arts Council Gallery. Artists include Yvonne Wells, students from The University of Alabama, and artists from the West Alabama area including Tuscaloosa, Fayette and Jefferson counties.
