Alabama has started a new program that uses fans' love of college football to increase vaccinations.

The Alabama Department of Public Health announced the creation of KICK COVID on Thursday. The program will use player appearances, on-site vaccinations and $75 gift card giveaways to those who get vaccinated on select gamedays through September and October.

Both the University of Alabama and Auburn University will host the program on Sept. 25.
