Ad Attacks Supreme Court Nominee John Roberts

The ad war surrounding Supreme Court nominee John Roberts is heating up, triggered by the launch of an anti-John Roberts ad from NARAL-Pro-Choice America. The response has been swift from a pro-Roberts group, Progress for America, which has anti-NARAL ads running in select markets. Who wins?

NPR's Neal Conan checks the facts and speaks with guests about the ads and how effective they are.

Guests:

Brooks Jackson, director of factcheck.org, a project of the University of Pennsylvania's Public Policy Center

Ben Ginsberg, counsel for Progress for America and Progress for America Voter Fund

David Savage, Supreme Court reporter for the Los Angeles Times
