George Packer, who has reported extensively on the war in Iraq for The New Yorker magazine, recently released a new book called The Assassins' Gate: America in Iraq -- a scathing account of the Bush Administration's larger effort to change the political future of the Middle East through military force.
Alex Chadwick talks with Packer, who initially supported the Iraq War, but now sees the growing guerilla war as a disaster for the United States.
