Alabama Public Radio's Pat Duggins reports from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, as Mobile native Kay Hire blasts off as an astronaut aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour. Her mission is to help install an observation dome, called a cupola, on the International Space Station. Pat reported from KSC for the blastoff, then followed the mission from Alabama.
