As many of you may know, APR is owned by The University of Alabama. That means we work on UA's calendar. We don't get a student's schedule, but we do get spring break off.
Well, most of us anyway. I've had this week off - but the voices you are used to hearing are still there for you. While the UA campus has been completely deserted, Maggie Martin, Ryan Vasquez and David Duff have been coming in to the APR studios all week.
It would be possible to bring in substitute hosts for everyone of course, but that would not be fair to you. It's a dedication to the programming you depend upon and to our listeners that only public radio provides.
