Moore Cannot Question Judges

By Alabama Public Radio

Montgomery, AL – The Alabama Court of the Judiciary will not have to answer questions from suspended Chief Justice Roy Moore's attorney. Chief Judge William Thompson yesterday issued an order on behalf of the court saying rules do not allow questioning of the panel. The judges will consider judicial ethics charges against Chief Justice Moore. The Judicial Inquiry Commission has accused Moore of violating ethical standards by refusing a federal judge's order to remove his Ten Commandments monument from the state judicial building. The Court of the Judiciary has the power to remove Moore from office. The trial will begin November 12th.
