Pryor Remains on Case Against Moore

By Alabama Public Radio

Montgomery, AL – The Court of the Judiciary did not disqualify Attorney General Bill Pryor from prosecuting the case against Chief Justice Roy Moore. Moore's attorneys argued Pryor should be removed because he had defended Moore's Ten Commandments position when Moore was a circuit judge. The Court of the Judiciary has not yet ruled on another motion that five of the nine members of the court step down. Moore's attorneys say two members have served longer than their two-year appointments and others discussed the case with state court employees. Moore's trial is scheduled to begin November 12th.
