Montgomery, AL – The judicial ethics trial of state Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore will be open to the public. The November 12th trial will be held in the courtroom of the Alabama Supreme Court. The Court of the Judiciary ruled Wednesday members of the public must reserve seats to attend the trial. Photo identification will be required to register for a seat and to enter the building during the trial. Reservations are being taken at the security desk inside the Alabama Judicial Building. The news media will have limited seating, but cameras, cell phones and recording devices will not be allowed. The court did approve the news media to photograph the reading of the court's final decision. Chief Justice Moore has been accused of violating judicial ethics by refusing to obey a federal judicial order. U-S District Judge Myron Thompson ordered Moore to remove his Ten Commandments monument from the judicial building's rotunda, but Moore did not.
