Deaf Schools May Combine

By Alabama Public Radio

Talladega, AL – The Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind is looking into a possible merger with the Janice Capilouto Center for the Deaf in Montgomery. AIDB President Terry Graham says it would help adults involved with the Capilouto Center to receive job placement and translation. Capilouto Center executive director Lynne Stokely also believes the two organizations could benefit from the proposal. It may take about 6 months to complete the merger.
