Montgomery, AL – Alabama Public Radio has been airing reports about the candidates campaigning for Congress. We now feature the candidates in the Third Congressional District. The area is made up of 13 counties extending from northeast Alabama down to the Phenix City area and west to Montgomery County. Incumbent Republican Mike Rogers is a former state legislator who is wrapping up his first term in Congress. His challenger is Democrat Bill Fuller, a former legislator and former Department of Human Resources Commissioner. Alabama Public Radio's Gina Smith reports.
