Montgomery, AL – As the winter season approaches, First Lady Patsy Riley is asking Alabamians to donate blankets. In a written statement, she said the effort is called "Blankets with a Blessing." Drop off sites are located in Montgomery, Birmingham and Huntsville. The first lady says the blankets be distributed to Alabamians in need. She also says she'll attach a written blessing to each blanket before they're delivered to shelters.
