A&M Trustees Disagree on Vote

By Alabama Public Radio

Huntsville, AL – A leader on Alabama A&M University's board of trustees says a secret vote on whether to ask for President John Gibson's resignation was not deadlocked at five-to-five. That's why the board attorney and secretary had reported. But board president protem Clinton Johnson says it was five-to-four in favor of asking Gibson to quit. Gibson has refused to resign and now faces a board meeting on December 10.
