Mobile, AL – Mike and Shannon Dee of Aliceville are the new Outstanding Young Farm Family of Alabama. The state Farmers Federation recognized the Pickens County couple Sunday at its 83rd annual meeting in Mobile. The Dees produce corn, soybeans, timber and beef cattle on their ten-thousand acre farm. They will promote Alabama agriculture through next year. They also won some prizes -- use of a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer for one year and a personal computer package.
