Supplier's Cuts Could Affect Alabama

Detroit, MI – The world's largest automotive supplier is planning to cut 85-hundred jobs next year. Delphi already cut thousands of jobs this year. The company has forecast a net loss of 350 million dollars for next year, including 150 million dollars in charges related to its work force reduction. Delphi operates plant in Athens and Gadsden. It's still unknown if the Alabama operations will be affected by Friday's announcement.
