Mobile-Based Soldiers Return to America

Fort Stewart, GA – Members of the 498th Transportation Company of Mobile earned 13 Bronze Stars and 18 Purple Hearts during their year in Iraq. The soldiers transported supplies to military units across Iraq and conducted more than six-thousand missions to all major cities in that country. One hundred-25 members of the Army Reserve unit returned to the U-S Tuesday morning. They're at Fort Stewart, Georgia, where they'll stay for the next several days to finish paperwork. Then, they'll return to Alabama.
