Mobile, AL – Mobile Mayor Mike Dow says he will not run for re-election. Dow has led the city for almost 16 years. He confirmed Thursday that he will step aside from public office to spend more time with his family and return to the business world. Dow's decisionwas widely expected. Former state Senator Ann Bedsole, meanwhile, says she'll run for the Port City's top job. But Bedsole also says she'll limit herself to one term.
