Muscle Shoals, AL – Northwest Shoals Community College will use a $262,000 grant from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to teach traffic safety programs in 10 Northwest Alabama counties. Governor Riley awarded the money to the college, which is home to the North Alabama Highway Safety Office. The safety office provides officers with training to reduce crashes, injuries and deaths.
