Linden, AL – A Marengo County jury has convicted former University of Alabama quarterback Micheal Landrum of capital murder in the murder-for-hire deaths of this three-year-old daughter and her grandmother. The verdict came Saturday in Linden. The jury will deliberate a possible penalty Monday. The 43-year-old was convicted of hiring Jeffery Napier to kill Mikayla and Ida Little in 2003. The jury could recommend death or life in prison without parole. Napier pleaded guilty to the murders in April. The 23-year-old told jurors that Landrum offered him $1,000 for the killings. Landrum was the first balck quarterback to play at Alabama.
