Undated, AL – There's a slight risk for severe thunderstorms across parts of the state Tuesday. A strong low pressure system is expected to move into the state, bringing showers and thunderstorms with it. The National Weather Service reports strong mid and upper level winds will help with the development of severe thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening. Weather forecasters say the storms could produce damaging winds and large hail. Dangerous lighting also will be possible.
