Mayors of Birmingham, Mobile win re-election

Two mayors of major Alabama cities were reelected Tuesday.

Randall Woodfin beat out seven other candidates with 64% of the vote to serve a second four-year term as mayor of Birmingham.

Sandy Stimpson won a third term with 62% of the vote to continue serving as mayor of Mobile. He said he will concentrate on projects like relocating the airport to a site closer to downtown.
