Three Alabama teenagers were arrested after investigators received an anonymous call about a loaded gun on campus. It happened Friday at Southside High School in Dallas County. The Sheriff’s department says officers put the school into lockdown and went to a specific classroom, based on the tip. Two students were charged after three loaded guns were found. Another student was charged in a shooting that was not related to the school. All three were being held in a juvenile detention center. The sheriff says the person who provided the tip is a hero. The arrest comes about a week after a high schooler in Pontiac, Michigan allegedly opened fire with a handgun, killing four other students. The parents of the accused teen shooter were arrested at a commercial building in Detroit that housed artwork. Officers were called to the location after a tip from a community member. A prosecutor has charged the parents with involuntary manslaughter.
