PRATTVILLE, Ala. (Montgomery Advertiser) — A city in Alabama has approved the sale of land to a chemical company planning to build a $2 million factory to support a paper mill.

The Montgomery Advertiser reports that the Prattville city council held a special meeting Tuesday night to vote on the plan. The 15-acre parcel in the town’s industrial park was sold to Autumn Tree LLC.

The development is expected to bring about 10 jobs supplying chemicals to the International Paper mill in Prattville, outside Montgomery.
