MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — The Alabama National Fair is opening its gates amid the coronavirus pandemic, but with added precautions such as limited occupancy and lots of hand sanitizer.

The Montgomery Advertiser reports that the fair begins Friday and runs through Oct. 18 at the Alabama Fairgrounds by Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery.
