Alabama will soon be the new home for the headquarters of an internet service provider.

Point Broadband announced they are relocating from Georgia to Opelika. Officials said the move will bring at least 25 new jobs to the eastern Alabama city.

The decision to move came after the Opelika City Council approved financial incentives such as tax abatements.

The company provides fiber internet services to residents and businesses.
